Architectural renders are generated from a scene created in a computer space. This scene is made up from different components such as

  • Geometry: The objects that comprise the building itself
  • Lighting: Method of illuminating the scene
  • Content: Incidental items such as landscaping, cars, people etc
  • Textures: Image files of materials in the scene such as pavers, tiles
The more intricate the geometry and the more of it, the more complex the production. This adds to the physical workload as well as the computer rendering load.
